Subscriber Poll Request Guidelines
I am quite liberal when accepting my supporter requests for subscriber polls – I accept most requests that I receive and these days the polls contain mostly subscriber requests.
However, I don’t accept 100% of the requests I get.
Even when I’m not very familiar with the requested characters, I still add them with the description: “I am not sure what it will be yet, I’ll familiarize myself with the characters once it starts leading in the poll and I’ll think of a more detailed scenario then.”
While I appreciate the details when describing a scenario I still treat them as suggestions.
When requesting you should intuit if the drawing idea is fitting with what I would usually draw. Specifically, you have to keep in mind that the request to be finally drawn by me, it has to be voted by people who already like my work.
Here are some clear “Dont’s”
Firstly, from now on, I strongly avoid drawing characters that have to be significantly “aged-up” to reliably be considered overage.
I don’t have a strict definition, because there is a large undefinable subjective element to it. So here is a definitive list of characters that I won’t draw (which will expand in time):
Mabel Pines; OG Gwen Tennyson; Toph Beifong; Violet Parr.
I have drawn these characters in the past, but I no longer ever will in the future.
I also now rather avoid directly 1ncestues themes.
I don’t do g0re
I don’t do beast (Humanoids like Werewolf’s are OK )
I don’t do fut0nari
I don’t do male-on-male
There is no point in requesting personal or niche OCs, because they won’t get anywhere in the poll if none of my subscribers know them.
